Services

One visit, the right kind of care.

Most units only need a routine clean. Some need a deep wash or a proper fault check. Tell us what you're noticing and we'll send the right technician with the right kit.

01

General servicing

Filters washed, coils and blower wheel brushed, drain line flushed, and airflow and temperature checked before we leave.

Good for: routine upkeep for units that are working fine.

02

Chemical wash

The indoor unit is dismantled and its coil soaked in a coil-safe cleaning solution, then rinsed to lift out built-up grime, mould and odours.

Good for: musty smells and airflow that stays weak after a clean.

03

Refrigerant check & top-up

We measure operating pressures and look for leaks first. A top-up only happens once the cause is understood and explained to you.

Good for: a unit that runs non-stop but never gets properly cold.

04

Fault diagnosis & repair

Error codes, tripping, leaking water or a unit that won't start. We trace the fault, show you the options and fix it once you agree.

Good for: anything that has stopped behaving normally.

05

Installation & replacement

Help choosing a sensibly sized system, a tidy install and careful removal of the old unit, with piping kept neat and out of sight where possible.

Good for: new rooms, renovations and units near the end of their life.

Not sure?

Describe the symptom. We'll suggest the service.

A sentence or two is enough, like "drips on the wall" or "smells damp at night."

Signs to watch for

Your aircon usually tells you first.

If any of these sound familiar, a service is probably due, and catching it early is usually simpler than a repair later.

  • Weak or uneven airflowClogged filters and dusty blower wheels choke the air before it reaches you.
  • Water dripping indoorsOften a blocked drain line or tray, and it's best dealt with before walls get stained.
  • Musty or sour smellsMould and bacteria settle on damp coils and get blown into the room.
  • Rattles, buzzing or clickingLoose panels, worn fan parts or debris that shouldn't be there.
  • Running longer to feel coolA tired, dirty system has to work harder to reach the same temperature.

How a visit works

Predictable from knock to finish.

You'll know who is coming, what they'll do and what it means for your unit before anything is taken apart.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your units

Send the booking form with your unit types and a time window. We'll reply to confirm a slot.

  2. 02

    Look before touching

Your technician runs the system, listens, checks airflow and talks you through what they're seeing.

  3. 03

    Clean, fix, protect

Floors and furniture are covered, the agreed work gets done, and anything unexpected is raised with you first.

  4. 04

    Test and hand over

The unit is run again, the area is cleaned up, and you get simple notes with the next suggested service date.

Questions

Good to know before we arrive.

Can't see your question here? Add it to the notes on the booking form and we'll answer when we confirm.

How long does a service take?

A general service usually takes under an hour per indoor unit. A chemical wash takes longer because the unit is taken apart. We'll give you a time estimate when we confirm.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Just clear access to each indoor unit and, if possible, the outdoor unit. Move fragile items off shelves directly underneath. We bring our own covers, ladders and cleaning kit.

Will it be messy or noisy?

We cover the area first and catch runoff water in a collection bag. There's some brief noise from the pump or blower while cleaning, and we tidy up before leaving.

How often should my unit be serviced?

It depends on how much you use it and how dusty the space is. Many homes do well with two services a year. Your technician will suggest a timing based on what they find.

Do you work on all brands?

We service most common wall-mounted split, multi-split, cassette and ducted systems. Mention the brand and model in your booking if you know it and we'll confirm.
